Several years ago, Mark Orr randomly mentioned “Maybe we should do Pick Your Own apples.” So he asked us if we wanted to try to add that to our lineup of items for picking. We said we might be interested. Within 24 hours he had bought thousands of trees and mapped out a network of tractor paths and trellised trees.
